HISTORY |
 According
to the letter demand ref. 1149/1993 on 2nd November,1993
from the Physical Education Departments, it was
signed by Mr. Suwit Wisutthisin who was the director
general of the Physical Education Departments, had
appointed Mr. Veerasak Noonpradit
who was the director of the project to set up the
Thammarat Sports School. There was the letter demand
ref.3640/1993 on 9th December,1993, was signed by
Mr. Suchan Pongnua, had appointed the board of the
Thammarat Sports School finally. The Nakhon Sri
Thammarat Sports School was established by the policy
of Ministry of Education; Mr. Sampan Thongsamak
on 21st January, 1994, and the school had started
in 1995.
 Initially,
the Nakhon Sri Thammarat Sports School was established
the Thungsong education officer of a district, had
cooperated with the grade school education officer
of a province, there were two schools from the grade
school education officer of a province; Satree Thungsong
School and Thungsong School had joined the project.
The training place and the dormitory were supported
by the Pakpreak Multipalcity. The first semester
of the year 1995, the Nakhon Sri Thammarat Sports
School could accept only 60 students because there
was insufficiency both the school building and the
dormitory. Consequently, the school had moved to
a new place, at the same area of the Thetsaban Ban
Nanua school, in which it was cooperated by Mr.
Surintra Pruetchainimitra; the director of the Thetsaban
Ban Nanua school and lieutenant colonel, Dr. Pariwat
Udomsak. So there were only five sports; they were
football, athletic, weight-lifting, swimming, and
badminton.
 While
the Nakhon Sri Thammarat Sports School was allowed
by the Department of Land, in which it was the royal
property land; located in Ban Kuanmaideang, Nonghong
sub-district, Thongsong district, Kakhon Sri Thammarat
to construct the new school buildings, the dormitory,
the canteen, the laundry, the accommodation for
government employees, the electricity system, the
water supply system, the bowels of the earth, the
road in the school, the fence and so on. The Nakhon
Sri Thammarat Sports School had moved from the Thetsaban
Ban Nanua School to the present place.
After sometime, the Nakhon Sri Thammarat Sports
School was contributed the budged the government
to build the training hall, the swimming pool, the
sport science centre, the artificial ground sport,
the health centre, the boxing hall, the Sepak Takrau
hall, the main library, and so on. These had provided
to develop as the outstanding sport school. The
demand sports were opened more such as Sepak Takrua,
volleyball, Muay Thai, amateur boxing and baseball.
Nowadays, the school is opened into 6 sports; football,
athletic, boxing, weight-lifting, volleyball, and
Sepak Takrua. At the same time, the school has provided
not only the sports but the school has provided
the general subjects as well as the other general
high school since 2000 to the present. |
